Also true. I imagine that whoever our partner-saver is, they'll take pity on Ion given the situation. But I do worry about the day we get an odd number of people for real.

If one of us dies first, the first thing we need is a steady connection that can be used to communicate. Let's start there.

It mentioned "the Narrators lost in the last two weeks." I've been wondering if that means that it was written just before the library appeared. If that's the case, other things like that may pop up in the castle each week. We can work out some kind of a code, or a message to try and send back... so that those of us who are left know the other is still there.
