Well, restless is putting it mildly. She's pacing back and forth in one of the corridors, her dog at her heel. Back, forth, back, forth. It's a wonder she hasn't gotten dizzy at this rate.
It looks like I wasn't. [damn the tiger and her sense of humor, not that reyna knows that yet] But that's another issue. Who in this castle can get into enough rooms to move that many of us?
[i still can't think of anything for them to actually talk about but you know what, let's just see where things go
here's reyna, making herself some hot chocolate after the trial. maybe belph should offer to spike it for her because she sure as hell looks like she needs a drink. there is not enough to comfort food in the world to deal with all of this nonsense.]
...I can't think of anything I've done to make either of those two dislike me enough to want me dead in their place. Perhaps I was just unlucky enough to be within reach when they needed evidence to incriminate someone else.
But they gained access to the earth dormitory at some point during the night, so I imagine they took it then and I merely didn't notice it as a result of whatever kept Sawyer from knowing her partner was dead until he was found.
[If she'd realized it, she could have pointed the finger at either of the culprits much sooner.]
You can say that again. I imagine the only people who appreciate it are those who are chosen to kill each week - and even so, it hasn't proven especially helpful to them.
[They've had a trial twice; they've caught the culprits twice.
Reyna is starting to wonder when the other shoe is going to drop.]
But it will be more of a problem if whoever is chosen next doesn't have a guilty conscience.
