It makes sense that you don't want to think your friend killed someone. Sharpay said she was... chosen, right? That changes things.
[ before steph was assuming that all murders would be the person approaching the goddesses. but if they're approaching the players first, it makes thing a bit trickier to predict. ]
I was wondering how our fighting each other like this was supposed to help either one of them on top. I have my guesses now, but - it's nothing concrete. I don't have anything to back it up.
Sharpay said that she was chosen. If she was chosen by... let's say the Tiger, then had she gotten away with it, that would have been one point in the Tiger's favor. Since she did not, perhaps that point went to the Dragon.
[She has literally no way of knowing if this is right or not but like this is how she'd run it if she was doing a murdergame.]
And perhaps next week the Dragon will pick a champion.
[ i hate that you're a mod and that you know steph knows there is in fact some sort of tally system going on here because they fuckin showed her the tallies ]
That's... hm. That's possible? It's really hard to tell how they're actually competing here. My first thought was maybe bets on who the last people standing are, but now that we know they're approaching people, that seems not as likely anymore.
Last person standing was my first theory. I'm not totally convinced that's wrong, either. Perhaps they're approaching people with the intention of using them to get their chosen players to the end - it's hard to say.
They could be treating us as if we're all pawns on a chessboard.
I think that finding out what exactly the terms of their personal game is would help us a lot. Right now we're really flying blind.
[ ... ]
Although the Dragon said that they did talk to some people since last Sunday. Maybe we could try getting an audience too and see if they'd answer more questions in private?
[not that reyna's going to do that solo bc lol i'm not making the other mods thread with me when they have other stuff to thread. she'll just encourage everyone else to.......]
The surest way to not get any answers is to not ask questions, after all.
Yeah... a few people told me they didn't see the point in trying to talk to either of them because they're probably lying, but why risk the chance that they're not?
Even if they aren't being entirely honest, most lies have some degree of truth in them, and even gods have trouble keeping their stories straight sometimes. If they tell different lies to different people and we compare notes on it, the overlap may be what's true.
Or maybe they are being honest. Either way, questionable information is better than none at all.
[ listen, stephanie is one of those people who rushes into things. but she's the kind that... does not. it depends on the situation. sometimes you actually get the opportunity to sit and think and this is one of those times. ]
... they're going to learn the hard way if they don't.

[ stubborn. getting certain people to agree to something seems like a challenge already. ]

Once they've made up their minds, they don't seem likely to change them. We saw that with Dazai today.
It may be a problem in later weeks.
[After they've all had more time to get attached to each other.]

Not everything is straightforward and you can't always just rush to get a result.

[looks at cast list and laughs]
Hopefully they'll learn.

... they're going to learn the hard way if they don't.

It would be unfortunate if it came to that.
[but they can't like... force them to do things differently]
At any rate - I suppose we will see how it goes.

[ there's a pause, before her serious expression shifts into a smile. ]
You're pretty good, Reyna.

[Reyna manages a smile.]
I think that's about it, for now, but... I hope we'll continue working together throughout the weeks, Batgirl.
