But - I find it a little strange that you were all made to experience something like that. Did you get anything out of it, at least?

Well, the castle isn't quite so cold, now is it? I assume that was the whole purpose.

And we're all grateful for it - but that doesn't seem to be of much benefit to you personally.

I'd be a little frustrated, if I went through that and all I had to show for it was it not being quite so cold. ...but I suppose that does seem in line with everything else we've been made to deal with so far.

[Which means - if Fane wants to tell her he didn't get anything out of it, she'll take it at face value.]

Well... Not at the beginning of the week, it wasn't. I may not be able to feel hot or cold as, ah, immediately as I once could... But I do still feel it. Oddly. The magic that keeps me, well, alive, it's an odd thing.

[ He waves a hand with a shake of his head, since that's not quite what he wants to get into. Instead, he does elaborate slightly, since his other bounty he didn't mention largely because he thinks it's useless... ]

There was also a mirror, but it's quite broken and presumably, quite useless.
